Glenn Highway Alaska — The Glenn Highway is the major highway extending
189 miles from the town of Glennallen located on the Richardson Highway to Anchorage, the largest
city in Alaska. Access to outdoor opportunities along the Glenn Highway is excellent with mountainous
sections and Alaska's famous sub-arctic tundra dotted by alluring lakes and meandering rivers.
The Glenn Highway offers fishing, hiking, canoeing hunting as just some of the activities Alaskan's
enjoy. Off-road sightseeing is also popular on four-wheelers in the summer and snowmobiles in
the winter.
Camping along the Glenn Highway
Along the portion of the Glenn Highway between Glennallen and Palmer Alaska there are a number
of pull-offs and rough camping areas commonly used by both locals and visitors to Alaska. There
