Liard Hot Springs Alaska Highway

Liard River Hot Springs Provincial Park located along the Alaska Highway in northern British Columbia is one of the most visited of all stops along this entire route. At the enterence to Liard River Hot Springs you find a large but rustic campground. If you're planning to stop here for the night we have found that planning ahead is a must. Reservations are accepted with a few sites being held back for first come first serve daily arrivals. These sites fill fast and early so plan to arrive by 3PM for the best chances of finding an open campsite. Larger RV's prefer to stay across the street at the Liard River Hot Springs RV Park.

Across the street is the Liard River Hot Springs Lodge and RV Park where a number of sites with and without hookups are available. There is even an area designated for tent camping that has become very popular with younger active travelers.
