  • Directions — Coho campground is located between Ninilchik and Homer along the Sterling Highway at Milepost 157. Take the turn onto the Old Sterling Highway and follow the road across the river bridge. Turn right on Anchor River Road and follow the pavement to the enterance to Coho campground.
  • Description — Coho campground is a small but well maintained campground that is part of the 5 campgrounds making up the Anchor River State Recreation Site. Coho campground is popular with anglers for salmon, steelhead and Dolly Varden fishing.
