Willow Creek Campground & RV Park - Alaska Fishing

Willow Creek Resort is the go to destination for anglers looking to experience the world-class fishing found in Willow Creek along the Parks Highway in Alaska. While all along the creek good fishing can be found, it's the confluence of Willow Creek with the Susitna River that attracts the greatest attention. Here, the clear waters of Willow Creek mix into the gray, silt filled, waters of the Susitna River making a large mixing bowl where fish coming up the Susitna tend to congregate before moving up Willow Creek or continuing up the Susitna. We have been fishing these waters for over 30 years and rank them far up the list in top destinations for road accessible fishing in Alaska. Willow Creek Resort is positioned perfectly to accommodate our need and we know that you will appreciate their services too.

Aside from the great salmon fishing, Willow Creek is also a destination for trophy sized Rainbow Trout. All along the length of the creek there are pools with these monstrous trout and there are even some grayling in the creek to make this fishing even more enjoyable.

Guided trips are available and highly recommended for those not familiar with the area or this type of fishing. Float trips in rubber rafts really open up the possibilities for fishing in and around Willow Creek along the Parks Highway in Alaska.
