The visitor's center is located just down from Mile 0 RV Park and Campground in Dawson Creek, BC and is where you find the famous sign for Mile 0 and the start of the Alaska Highway. The friendly and knowledgeable folks at the Dawson Creek Visitor's Center will help you with all your questions about Dawson Creek and the roads leading to and from their town.

The Dawson Creek Visitor's Center is the place to get the latest in road and weather reports, local and regional maps and boat loads of exciting brochures for a lot of what lies ahead of you. The Dawson Creek Visitor's Center is found within the original 1931 Northern Alberta Railway Station Museum, the Visitor Center is located at 900 Alaska Avenue in Northern Alberta Railway Park. The visitor's center offers plenty of paved parking and is where you will find the famous Mile 0 Cairn and Grain Elevator Art Gallery and the above sign where everyone takes a selfie or two.
